If you are an individual or institution that is involved in integrated tracking of aquatic animals in the Gulf and wish to join the iTAG network, please review the iTAG membership agreement and have ready the following information for registration: tag array #, species name, number of live tags, expected year of tag death and a species image if you would like that for the project page.

Mission Statement
Increase the capacity in the Gulf to assess movements and spatial ecology of aquatic animals at the Large Marine Ecosystem scale through improved networking, increased infrastructure, and sharing of acoustic transmitter detection data.
Nature of Service
The iTAG community is a scientific network facilitating the exchange of information and data between scientists. The iTAG network provides: an integrative map of acoustic telemetry research throughout the Gulf of Mexico; the ability to exchange detection data across receiver arrays, and networking and workshop opportunities to improve tracking science and its ability to inform management.
iTAG Membership
As an iTAG member, you get free access to cloud-based data archival along with the benefits of increased study scope and easier data management. iTAG is an Ocean Tracking Network (OTN) partner node, and any member uploading data to the iTAG node must agree to the iTAG user agreement and data policy, which is based on the data policy set forth by OTN and other nodes.
Once you have registered as a user using the button below, you can request a user account to start uploading your data to the iTAG data portal.
